I should wait until the one year anniversary to update my long forgotten blog, but predictability has never been my strong suit. Truthfully, I'm sitting here at my computer unable to sleep with no book to read. Okay, I'll say it, I'm bored and wide awake at midnight!

Ahh... life. It flies by and when you remember to look up a year has passed. I have to be careful, my little one is turning four in a few months. FOUR! Yes, I will begin and end the day telling her all about how she came to be! I'm amazed how big she is becoming and frightened at how fast she is growing! This summer for me has been about letting go as a parent. Her visit to the dentist earlier this summer, we were asked to wait outside the room (the door was wide open and we had perfect view of all inside - she was literally 3 steps away). Swimming lessons were without Mommy or Daddy, - "You mean she gets inside the pool without Greg or I ??? Seriously?" I soon realized I wasn't needed and she did wonderful! I have started on the path of learning to let go - in the tiniest, teensiest steps I can possibly take!

Hello... stranger!

It has been awhile since I have sat down at a actual computer. A few months ago, I purchased a new cellphone and well, you know those fancy things make life so easy! Too easy, infact, I find myself using my cellphone and not needing an actual computer very much at all. Then the other day, I randomly remembered - oh yeah, I have a blog that I haven't updated in quite some time - how 'bout that?

We have been great! Enjoying the weather one week and wishing for better weather the next - Texas style! The weather today is just beautiful - and we have been enjoying it with much time spent outside and at local parks! Allison starts soccer this week -which will be fun, hopefully she will remember a few things from last semester!
